1146 Biarmia
1146 Biarmia is a main belt asteroid orbiting the Sun. Approximately 31 kilometers in diameter, it makes a revolution around the Sun once every 5 years. It completes one rotation once every 12 hours. It was discovered by Grigory Nikolaevich Neujmin on May 7, 1929.[1] It was named after a legendary country Bjarmland in northern Russia near the Finnish border. Its provisional designation was 1929 JF.[2]
